I can’t get myself to fall in love with it, and remember what’s going on 100%, but I’m going to keep trying. Also, I think the editor of this book, at least the copy I have, didn’t do great because there has been several weird sentences so far that have punctuation in the wrongs spots and don’t make them a full sentence. Such as “…dim gas-lit space. Inside. Memories slammed into her…” like umm

My jaw just genuinely dropped to the floor. I was NOT expecting that…

It kind of switches topic by paragraph not by chapter, kinda weird…

I don’t know why I’m still bothering to read this book. I guess we will see what happens but it’s not looking too good…

Taking a stab at this series again bc I found myself wanting to read it. Driving to Nashville today for a weeklong vacation, so I am seeing how many pages I can read in ~9 hour drive. Started on page 121
