So far it is a little hard to believe the morality and depiction of our protagonists, however I`m relying on my strong belief that I just need to get to know them better. Theodore is very charming. though. It`s Violet I`m having trouble understanding and trying to get a better characterisation of.

In hindsight, I should have read this book in my fantasy novel consumption era during school year because this book has been a great portal to escapism. It's world building is intriguing and the mystery behind every character leaves you wanting more information about them. Can't wait to dive deeper in this angel-demonish universe...

So far, the ambience has been set: blood, gothic academy, middle Eve, pale vampires and mysterious characters who are revealed little by little...
