Okay so the main update I have so far is that I had been giving Tipper the benefit of the doubt, but given the latest developments and the newly acquired information, I have decided she also sucks.
Carrie deserves so much better.

Honestly, I can't believe how much I did not remember about the first time I read this... What the fuck book did I read? Did I dream that I read this (even though I remember vividly how my jaw hit the floor by the end?)

Don't get me wrong, it was never my plan to read this one at this point. But I recently got DotR and I felt this one had to be read first. Let's hope it won't feel like a chore (so far I'm not loving the chapters being so long).

It's gotten slightly better... More tolerable in the general sense, but the protagonist is still pretty much annoying me.

I don't know if it's the expectations that I had going into this, or if I'm too old to relate to the voice of the protagonist, but so far, I'm not really into it. I hope I'm not DNF'ing, but so far, I'm not making any promises.

I've wanted to get my hands on this for quite a while now so I'm indescribably excited!

I believe I won't be DNFing after all, but I'm still struggling. Somebody please come ask if I'm okay.

The writing is fine, nothing to complain about there. But I'm still having this urge to DNF because I'm just about done with Meme. I'll give it a bit, though, to see what goes on in further chapters, but so far, her being the main focus in this part of the book is NOPE.
