Hum I like this book but honestly I’d be happy to dnf and just leaving them floating around fighting their wars. Conflicted if I’ll carry on as I loved the first book and this isn’t bad

I love it. Even if it takes a turn for the worse this half of the book is what I wanted the bridge kingdom and metal slinger to be, it’s full of promise.

The chapters are too short and the constantly changing pov is a bit disorientating. Wren feels like a bad rehash of nesta with her ptsd and generally unlikable character. Although I love nesta tho

So far the writing feels weird, very ya and idk not as good as legends but we shall see.

Okay so I picked it up again, suddenly I’m hooked and in love with Ethan shadowbrook I’m so shallow!! it took me literally three more chapters from the point of dnf to complete infatuation

I think I’m gonna dnf I’m not ready to be in this world without dracy and tori and all the guys. It kinda falls flat after getting so deeply entwined with ZA and idk I instantly did not gel with Ethan. Which probably means I’ll come back in a couple of months and be like Ethan shadowbrock is the only man for me. I actually don’t know what to read rn
