I am cringing at the use of the word gaijin here.

i'm beginning to struggle with this one. I hate to DNF a book but I'll try my best to breeze through this (the author's writing style was good at first but it kinda got repetitive and the lists...the unnecessary sentences that didn't really contribute to the overall story...)

told myself to read this AFTER my classes of the day and I didn't listen to myself and jumpscared myself ugh i need to hide this book until ALL my classes are over

I love the idea of untranslatable words used as chapter titles but dang it at least give us a footnote? A little sentence to explain it?!
