I’m going to push on a bit further before I make a decision I rarely actually follow through with - hard DNF. I had the same feelings with the first book of this series… it’s just boring. The characters are lackluster and the plot feels forced. The only character I remotely like is Aisha. I wanted something that was captivating like City of Brass.
