Loving these short stories set in a future time during a pandemic. Savoring them one at a time.

I started reading this book years ago and just couldn’t get into it, so I gave it a one star rating. But now, I am 2/3 done and I LOVE it. I want to own all of the books in the series and read the next few immediately. Goes to show that sometimes a book is right for you, but not the right time for you to read it.

DNF. I became caught up in the controversy surrounding the writing of this book and need to contemplate that more before I decide to finish reading. For the 1/3 of it I read, it was well-written, and a story that I will sit with for a long time.

This book is heavy. I will finish it, but the subject matter is darker than I had hoped to read during the darkest month of the year. 😐

This is certainly one of the most unique books I've ever read. I am not sure the style will hold my interest for the long haul, but I'm in it until the end.

This story has sucked me in fast. Detailed writing and a story that just doesn't stop creating more and more intrigue. A new favorite author for me, and I'm so excited to see where this story goes.

This is my third read of this book. I read it when it came out, then again 11 years ago. I always seem to reach for this book in autumn. Must be the creepy ghost story. Love the feelings this books evokes.

Such a great book, following the lives of two characters. Can't wait to see where these two stories intersect...or if they ever will.

I never, ever thought I'd love a book with hockey serving as the setting and it's own character. I seem to not be able to put this book down.

this book is slow reading. but the story is engaging. i'm hoping the story-telling picks up...
