So many turns of the story - mixing of lives is so moving and captivating!!

Omg loving it so far! The social commentary is on point in the perspective of this short long string of life concept!!! Can’t wait to keep going 💕

A lot of interesting info and tidbits but j out it down for a bit and haven’t come back to it… I’ll finish it some time but not a sense of urgency to do so…

I might be done… trying to power through and it got a little better but feels a little repetitive about the hippo and I’m not captivated by the mini stories sadly :(

Ok i went in with 0 expectations - as a person of faith I see the hurts in the church, I see pain people have gone through, I see the hope that is there, and some might be turned off by that but I’m on the edge to see how this all plays out. It’s gotten SPICYYYYY 🪭 I know rocky ness is coming based on what’s happening 😬 let’s gooooo enjoying the ride friends, enjoying the ride!!

Ok I’m hooked. I was a little confused at first with all the characters but now I’m on board. I read book 1 so if you haven’t you might need some more backstory with all the realms but in caught up and hooked in!!!

Ok the characters I’ve known are just whoa… how many “calm down” can there be? I feel whiplashed.

Um excuse me???? What just happened… I can’t even. I feel like stopping right now but I won’t because this can’t be real. I am getting a lot more background on what made this flawed father king and curious where that goes especially with this event.

This is taking a turn I didn’t expect… and why is “darling” bothering me so much? Trying to let it go but I like when they use each other’s last names.

Ok what?? It seems to have turned quickly… is Kit REALLY good again? I am enjoying being reunited with my people again and that Lenny and Ellie are there!!

She is so insightful with the connections of scripture and kids’ books!! And all those kid books were classics and favs in our house too- Sandra boynton was so well read in our house!! Wow loving it so far!

30% in and I’m definitely hooked. I’m newish to fantasy but now I see how fae/humans/magic is a very common thing. There’s a lot to unpack with a lot coming at you in the beginning but hey I’m keeping up so it’s not TOO high fantasy for my fantasy newbie ish mind! I’m hoping the chemistry gets better? It’s not bad but it’s also not my fav… the story building and mystery has got me though!!

I just couldn’t get into it despite really trying. It never explained what was really happening with Sylvia, objectified women, and the hypocrisy of the age gap… the sucky mom… it just didn’t make me want to keep going even though I don’t DNF often.
