I don’t know where i exactly am in this book because I’m listening to the audiobook, so far because I’m familiar with adler is seems repetitive to me but if you’re just getting acquainted with him this book is a great start, it’s easy to follow and a light read.

Already everything is marvelous about this book, I don’t want to read this, i want it to last forever. Also Vronsky… i hate you, i feel for you, i wanna kill you and i wanna have a drink with you (non alcoholic for me).

I don’t trust ANYONE. Love the vibes. Anna you marvelous woman i’m eager to get to know you.

It’s only 5 percent but keep in mind the book is 35 hours long😁what a journey to embark upon

This is torture

The intimacy and closeness between characters is really drawing me in. But man Naoku is one unlucky girl. I can’t wait to know more.

I cannot believe I finally started reading this one since i added it to my CR shelf
Got back into reading, running (5km today) and studying more consistently. Sometime giving up on something that isn’t working for you is the equivalent of a miracle. I’m really glad i dnf’ed the book that was dragging me down

It’s always the sudden purchase books innit?
Amazing and if it weren’t for the fact that my eyes are burning and also i had to go to work i would be still reading this book in order to finish it in one sitting.

Is it time for me to admit i read all the reviews for this and now i no longer have any motivation to finish it and bought 2 new books so i have to dnf this one? Yes it is

I ran 5km today. I wasn’t listening to the audiobook but i thought it’s worth mentioning anyway.
Bashar started out as this shy kid in school, being overlooked and second to his brother his whole life and then he becomes the president and salvaging the grip his family has on Syria becomes so important to him that he completely disregards innocent people’s lives. His tactics hit too close to home.

I can’t say how much I resent the fact that I can’t read as fast as i’d like these days. On the plus side this book is an absolute joy to read. Scientific enough so I won’t feel guilty for not studying and interesting enough so I don’t miss reading novels

I wish there was more info and details about Ramy and the rest of Robin’s cohort’s lives included and i’m dying to know more about Griffin.

Listening to these parts was torture

10k run and and got to 50% in the book when i got home and Mr.King? You’ve got me crying over here. For some reasons unknown to me i have issues with death and i relate to Rachel a lot and tonight her story was all i needed to start tearing up. Love the progression of the plot so far.

The story is finally picking up. The audiobook is amazing for zoning out of worrying about rhythm or pain or anything else.

Hefty book😭so it’s going really slowly but i like king’s writing so far and the story seems intriguing but like the first book of his that i read i have a problem with the pace I can’t wait for the story to go further so i can know more of the actual plot.

I was supposed to be done with this book sooner but tonight was a hellish run. Humidity was at 50 percent and although the temperature was 35 degrees (C) it was hard to go on so i’m saving the last bit for another practice.

I’m reaching the fourth week of the 8 weeks program. If there isn’t something wrong with the translation i’m using the book is dauntingly repetitive. I think I’ve figured the gist of what this book is trying to preach with it’s methods which is letting experiences be experienced, let thoughts be thoughts and not sth that controls you and emotions are to be felt not reacted upon.

Ran a total of 7.6 K tonight and i feel ecstatic. Also improved my pace. I think i need more burn in my legs. Hoping to get to 9K by the end of August. Wish me luck

Listening to this while i ran 7 Kilometers tonight. Mr.Murikami ran a full marathon in Athens alone and now it’s the only thing I can think about. Imagine running a marathon in the original route. I hope i get to do this before i hit 40.

Easy read so far and if you’re new to emotional balance it provides great insights
