The history book I’m supposed to be reading is beating my ass right now and I haven’t had much time to read anything else. I only got so far in this one because it’s easy to read (not a bad thing at all btw)

Absolute tonal opposites with the books I’m reading right now. Although I don’t consider This Way Up to be a book; it’s 16 episodes of Map Men in a book.

I love that last chapter. And the one before that. And the one before that one too. I can’t believe i skipped my history homework to read a history book

Got the Map Men book today and finished The Stars My Destination today so guess who’s going to pull a total mood whiplash! God bless the Map Men I love those guys

Gonna try to finish this before I get the map men book. Drastic tone changes but all for the map men. This book is getting so good. Might be my next 5 star read? I hope so. It’s so fucking good.

I love how this book incorporates plot points so seamlessly.

Would I go that far? Probably if I’m being honest. Love the poem at the start of part two. Seeing “methinks” in a book from the 50s threw me off a ton. I never knew “methinks” was an old word, thought it was another weird millennial thing

Gonna read Of Mice and Men for class this quarter. I liked what I read of The Grapes of Wrath, so I can't wait. Sadly, I've been spoiled for Of Mice and Men at minimum 1000 times.

Oh my peak. I’m usually not a fan of perspectives shifting like this but it works so well here. If you told me how the perspectives (no idea if that’s the right phrasing or not. Focus maybe?) change before I read this book, I would have never wanted to read it. Might be my next five star read?!

I have this unwritten rule where I don’t put in the percent read until I reach 30%, but I’m going to break it this time to say I am loving this book so much. The world building is just so tasty to read.

My attention is currently split between The Stars My Destination, World War Z, and Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. I have no idea which one to start, all of them are great for different reasons

Looking back, I realize how insane of a book The Sparrow is lol. I mean it in a positive way

I’ve been wanting to reread Fear and Loathing for the past month so guess what I’m gonna read next???

I haven’t said much on the book now that I think of it. I like it I guess. I think I like cats cradle just a little more but that might be because I actually had time to read it. Both are good though.

I hate school urghhhhh. I might be going back to finishing books in 2-3 months FML
