It’s just so unbelievable. Main character has been treated like garbage the whole book & still sticks with boss. The story about power is there, but there isn’t a plausible reason other than perhaps a masochist undertone, as to why Jules stays being treated so poorly. That’s what makes this so un-relatable and unbelievable. And just because she does stay in that position doesn’t paint a picture of romance.
