the other night i had a dream someone was interrogating me about my opinions of this book, and when they asked what i thought of jim, i said, "honestly, i find him to be rather bland."

on one of the blank pages before the book starts, i apparently wrote this when i was little:

"I LOVE [underlined] Books, but the How To Train Your Dragon Books and the Warrior books are the Best [underlined] so far!!!!"

tom sawyer needs to be STOPPED he is making his extended family paranoid they're about to get MURDERED and he's making his friends eat SAWDUST. not to mention the snakes that escaped in the house and rained down from the rafters!!! huckleberry please lock in and fix this poor jim is crawling in spiders all the while

god tom sawyer is so full of himself LMAOOO i love him dearly. however: huck you need to stand up for yourself and put tom in his place he's being ridiculous

IT'S TOM SAWYER! MY CLOSE AND PERSONAL FRIEND TOM SAWYER!!! i hate to say i'm immediately ten times more interested now that he's arrived...why couldn't tom have been here from the start instead of conman 1 and conman 2 i don't care about them

you know huck keeps talking about tom and he's right to do so. huck keeps getting in situations where he needs to Lie and Deceive and everyone sees right through him. tom sawyer would NOT let that happen that little brat could talk his way out of most anything

they had so little to entertain themselves with at this point in history the circus went on like normal even though the town sheriff shot a man in broad daylight ten minutes prior. incredible

im starting to feel like i may be wrong in holding out hope that [REDACTED] is okay since there are only two chapters left...but there's still a chance for things to change !

the writing bazaar of hell could really be improved if the boise state writing center had a booth there

i mean i knew the icky subtext about grimes was there all along but actually reading about it really solidifies that they should leave this man in hell where he belongs. also peter pov chapter!!!! let's goooo. he and alice are two sides of the same messed up, therapy-needing coin and i love that for them
