i'd wanted to finish the book tonight but i am sleepy and i think i need to be more awake than i am now to be properly devastated by the end. in richard iii there's a line where a character says "i see, as in a map, the end of all" which is exactly how i feel as i make my way toward the finale of this book. things are so bad!!!!!!!!
