I'm definitely seeing this one through, it's a little corny but I love a spooky house. I just hope to get scared shitless

So much exposition jam-packed into one chapter. It just doesn't feel like I'm reading a story, but being told to the story. I am a little hopeful though so we move 🤞🏾

Cackling because why would you go on a little family trip to the French countryside to visit your ex that you almost left your husband for?

I like how realistically unlikeable Erica is. Especially in her early 20s

It's so cozy I really needed this 😭

I love when people are bitter, vengeful, and spiteful especially when it's deserved but even when it's not

😦

It's perfect I never want it to end

My goodness the narrator is so so relatable and how the author describes the feeling of panic of being closeted is so good I'm in awe

Just got done with part 3 and my lord I'm in so much pain and Tom was my favourite too :(

THEY EVEN HAVE LESBIAN TEACHERS 🗣️‼️ everyone is all types of queer in this manga

Why is my children's book getting a little dark right now? 😭

Beautifully written I just don't think writing this descriptive is for me?? I'm not the strongest visualiser 😭

god this writing

I'm having the time of my life over here

I've changed my mind. Totally seeing this one through

I'm giving it 2 to 3 chapters before I dnf
Might* give this author another try though

It's not getting any better 😭 (in all the right ways btw I feel like I'm being read to filth)

A little homophobic at how much this book is making me cry

Part 2 was some good fucking food

Thank god it's picking up the pace. When it switched povs in that second part I felt euphoric. I have mixed feelings so far but I'm planning on seeing this one through

I've been charmed. 14 pages in and I'm already so engrossed holy

Ok so maybe it is growing on me

Idk about the pacing. The writing is like a culmination of bullet points "and then he," over and over (I don't mean this literally btw) everything feels so abrupt? The characters introduced have zero presence and I don't feel connected to Ronny or even a little bit intrigued by Ben. I will continue though this might change it's still pretty early

It's crazy how scared I am of Cathy. Especially when she's forced to do something she doesn't want to do, I just immediately fear for the characters because Cathy will get back at them viciously. I feel real fear 😭

Chapter 14 was the funniest thing I've read in a long time. These types of chapters honestly feel like Steinbeck's version of a beach episode. I'm a big fan of that

Can't wait to get to the main drama

Charles really said: game recognises game. I can't wait for more emotional torture
