Its pretty interesting to read the different versions of this story. How it developed over the years.

Starting this deep dive. Instantly having to recall all those characters is quite the task, but I am happy that i payed attention while reading the silmarillion.

Doom is following him till his last step

God i thought we could trust this little dude

Mim the dwarf!

It is so nice to read even more LOTR lore.

We are so back in business. Love Tolkien

What the actual fuck is this

This is such a weird book. I am not sure if i like it

Wtf did i just read😨🧐

Is this just one big description about how europeans see America?

What in the digital nightmare is this?

Blasting through this book. That shit fucked up!

Uhm tragic morning I guess?

The ring is gone!!!!!

This last book is the best. It amazes me how such a large universe can be created without it feeling wrong. The scale is perfect. Almost at mount doom

Now we are getting somewhere. I must say I do prefer the slightly faster storytelling of the last book. It does keep me in a better flow.

At the border passing into Mordor. Slow progress reading…

So close yet so far

The taming of gollum. Slow and steady towards mount doom!

Oh Saruman, you crazy old fool
