Deciding to put this back on the shelf after 30%. Coming into this after the torment books… it just felt hallow and empty? I might come back one day.

This had so much potential to start with.. it was actual zombie apocalypse and build up but I’m a little bored??? Where’s the tension? Where’s the zombies? Where’s the banter? Where’s the darkness? Hmmm

Enjoying the story, the characters but I just can’t get my head to stay in the book.

I’m really enjoying the layout of this book and the writing style.

I’m sick of wanting to DNF books / I just don’t get this book. There’s been some really beautiful parts and moments but then it feels like they’re robots?? Is this intentional?
