46% complete. So far this book is keeping me engaged and entertained. It could use a little work on editing, but the world is interesting. Very much a romance novel despite the fantasy setting.

OK, the story is starting to sweep me up, and I am forgetting the disconnect between the stories world and our own. That old Clancy magic is taking hold...

So far it's pretty typical TC- it's good but I feel like it's been done before, and the author's world at this point has diverged so far from our own that it's hard for me to connect empotionally with the material.
