DNF. Well, I will have to try this book again another time. I am not really into this story any longer, and it feels like it is just dragging on for me.

I think Mia Sheridan's writing is a little too descriptive for me with abundant minute details that don't lend to the characters / situations. I feel like I should give her writing another try, possibly on the part II of this book - or another book.

Could not get into this book. Screenplay is what makes it worthy of our time.

I had to give up on this... I think the story was okay. For me, the writing style is very hard to stay comfortable with. I'm an evening reader and not into a ton of dialogue between too many characters. Especially smart character mixed with strange ones.

Struggling with the super drenched feeling on the sheer amount of dialogue in this book ...! It's not flowing well for me to read this before bed at night, though I like the story setting.

Is it fair to say now that ... this really could have been edited better to get the focus back onto the actual story context?

I had to set it down for a while.

While the characters are interesting, and the setting in Florida is a nice element, the constant dialogue between characters is not my thing. The story is also slow to evolve as well...

The author has provided just fabulous details to these characters, who are quite believable. I love the setting, the dialogues and the discussion of friendships as well. I'm enjoying this book so much for the tempo of the writing and the considerable details for each character. The story is lively, and flows so well.

Oh - and the love scenes take you to a pulse beat that is quite appreciated ...

This book shoves you into a gripping read. Then, is shifts tone and guides you right into an interesting story. I'm at chapter 5 and struggling to put it down.

The writing is vastly different than It Ends With Us or It Begins With Us, still quite compelling. I'm enjoying this main female character and author, Lowen.
