Started reading this at 10pm last night and had to force myself to stop at midnight. I'm emotionally compromised already, not sure how I'm gonna go on. The world-building of this universe is going to live in my head forever, and the two main characters, my god. This is a book I can't read in public due to the tears and honestly I am going to finish it... but it'll wreck me more, I know it.

Read a review where someone freaked out about "the main character" being a bad person. 1) She's only the main character of the first story (of 5), and 2) it's clear she's not a good person from the second page. That's. The. Point! People have become so puritanical, it drives me insane. God forbid a character is complicated. Anyway, really good book so far.

This book is a TRAINWRECK good god.

I loved Han and Leia's relationship in later novels and was curious as to how they tied the knot... frickin YIKES.

I've never hated Han Solo more. He overrides Leia's free will, locks her in his ship, flies her across the galaxy, and says she has seven days to fall in love with him again. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!
