Finally getting into this book

Apparently I forgot to say I started reading this then took a massive break then need some rot inbetween classical reading. Restarted on page like 80 2 days ago

Let’s see how many books Vicky can start this year and not finish. I am determined tho to read this alongside other classics! Trying to get into older books to convince my brain to actually read something that is to do with my job and degree and historical books

On page 7 of the first novel: Emma!! Started reading this after I have started also reading wuthering heights and can’t say I enjoy the old writing style but maybe I’m just not used to it so decided to switch to other classics like this!!!

Very much enjoying emma so far, easy to read to start off with and may convince me to even finish bridgeton.

Read a good portion this morning and imma be gutted if this doesn’t end with them together tbh. More gutted about the fact I can’t keep reading bcs of work

I keep forgetting to update when I stay reading a book and when I pick it up this week. I think it’s bcs I’m reading lil bits in the morning then at work then in the evening and I just get distracted but I really need a break from bridgerton and I really can’t get into Francesca’s story so I thought this would be a fun one with the new film out and I need to read this before I see that and I’m loving it atm

He’s so manipulative and mean but I kinda love their banter I guess? But he’s rude as shit

Okay finally getting into it, this is not the Benedict I know from the series tho

This book is taking me longer to get into and I’m sad about it.

The book is so much better than the series which is crazy since Anthony and Kate’s series was the best in all honesty.

WHERE WAS THE BEE SCENE AND WHY ON EARTH DID THE DIRECTORS MAKE AUCH UNNECESSARY CHANGES

Have been recommended this an told I’ll love it as there’s an archaeologist but so far nearly falling asleep so we shall see

I genuinely think this book is gonna take me forever to finish, not a fan so far at the writing and hoping if I get through this the characters get better as Daphne is starting to piss me off

Such a silly book, definitely doesn’t feel like it’s set in the 1800s rn but let’s see if that changes but I love the differences in this versus the series and I’m mad they changed it in the way they did

This book already has me with tears in my eyes how is it gonna end
