Pastors wives face countless situations that require wisdom. As we give ourselves to persistent study of the Word, God will grow us. Wisdom is not instantaneous, because the Bible is not primarily an answer book. It is instead the means by which we know the source of wisdom and, over time and by the power of the Holy Spirit, begin to think and act like him.

Why is each person in the world so different from the other? Yet, also, so similar? There are basic rules of magic, such as using it for good, and that’s based on light. But I think Solwain lets us each have something unique that somehow will bless us and the lives of others.

The opposite of darkness is light. 🌅

The light is inside you. It’s a part of you. By sacrificing a part of yourself and your light, it’s a sign that you’re willing to fight off the darkness. Many don’t talk about how living a life filled with light means sacrificing the easy choices of falling into anger, lies, and unkindness. (💖👏🏻)
