Denise is 50% done with Unforgiven (Unforgiven, #1)

I'm bailing on this one. Seems too unreal. I can't really see this up down thing actually occurring in "real life". Her ability to put up with it and his continual cruel streak is just unreal. Maybe I need more back story to have a reason to see that he is worth it but I really don't want to read anymore.

Wow this guy is a complete asswipe. Nothing redeeming in him yet. He must have been quite the guy for her to continue to put up with his constant need to emotionally hurt her. 6 years...get some therapy buddy. .If he doesn't get his head out of his ass soon I'm bailing.

I just can't get into this book. No fault of the writer but they are two damaged people with issues and I'm not intrigued or entertained. Im not sure I like either of them. I gave it nearly 1/2 the book but I'm going to bail.

Denise is 60% done with Alaskan Fire (Guardians of the First Realm, #1)

Boy this is a long book. It is very interesting and being set in AK I enjoy that. There are areas in the book that can be slimmed down and don't need so much detail as given in the book. I say that because the details is just nothing I want to read detail about.

Denise is 15% done with A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2)

I just can't get into this book. It may be the 1000 pages looming ahead of me. Also not much romance and very WAR oriented. I am watching the Game of Thrones on HBO and loving it. REALLY good and goes along with the book nearly word for word. I just can't keep reading this maybe I'll go back to it later but I am shelving it for now.

This is a dark book not like other of her haven't been though. It is hard to keep with it sometimes. I find myself switching between two books as I can't alway take all the darkness...

This was slow to get going but her flashbacks to the past are interesting and connected with her present time that it has become really interesting now.
