Ah. Yes. Perhaps unreliable narrator and personality disorder? Explains the nonchalant mention of meds, the disoriented state of mind, familiarity of the house next door despite someone else living there, lapses of memory and it being messed up moments she isnt remembering. I bet "mouse" murdered her fake mom OR is just thrilled Sadie's alter ego did the job for her lol

Sadie is the stupidest smart person. Wow. Also since when has she been taking medication?? I dont think its been mentioned a single time and now we are just supposed to not notice WILL handed them to her? Lol ok miss space case cant keep track of her day but as a .medical professional she didn't notice? Lol ok

"Evil green monster" ok i see you lol something tells me the elderly neighbor mistook "the dr lady" for her husband's mistress and her husband's obsessive mistress had followed Sadie and will to their new home, and is back to taking out the competition mr will flirts with. Something tells me he got too close to the neighbor lady and his mistress caught him again lol

This how we met story is so bad. I had to listen twice to make sure we were even talking about her husband and not a random "chad" *insert headache inducing eye rolls* the entire meeting is like oh we are STILL yammering on about the car going by? And his hand? Oh okay. Sigh.

Im not sure if Charlotte is spot on with her instincts or if she really is just that insufferable.

The lower ratings on this have me very curious if this is much ado about nothing at all and just inside the mind of a paranoid lady with no actual mystery. Im scared to read the reviews in case it skews my impression of this lol

If all these "patient shot by her husband" references aren't actually foreshadowing I'll be so disappointed. I thought I was accidently re-reading earlier in the book again when she had nearly the same exact inner dialog about the patient with the gunshot wound that ended up being fatal and this is the THIRD mention thus far. Repetitive drinking bingo, anyone? A shot for every time Nina brings this up?! 🤣

Im 31% in and I'm very suspicious of Jakeson... (iykyk) and Im not sure if Christian and Lily are couple goals or absolutely idiots who end up on Dumb Criminals.
Also suspish about Lily's character....I've noticed a lot of emphasis on the sweetness of her character and Im not sure I buy it 👀
