Strange, but good.

WHAT???!!

The Theatre of Vampires has been created with Nicholas as its leader. Armand is asking to run away with Lestat and Gabrielle but they are, rightly, against it. We got a bit of Armands backstory, showing us how he was basically indoctrinated by this vampire cult and taken from his master. There is also the interesting mystery of Those Who Must Be Kept. Basically it’s getting interesting.

I had hope for the little gay men and it has been crushed. Lestat can no longer stand to look at Nicholas despite him being the one who turned him (wtf). Also he turned his mother because she was dying, fair enough, but now they are full on making out every few pages (WTF). Basically i ask confused as to where this is going. Also little Armand appearance earlier (fun) but he was leading a religious cult (not so fun).

Lestat is in a rock band??!!?

When I picked up this book I really liked the concept of it. However it is actually quite boring so far. The descriptions go on for too long and due to the overly flowery language the story is lost. Apparently most of the plot happens in the last 100 pages so we’ll see if it gets better.

So far the stories are very interesting. Some are beautiful love stories and others are disturbing and tragic. So far my favourite story is either Flowers or the Rath (Only corpses stay and The summoning are close seconds).
