The woman in the room (20th story): this was meh. It was sad obviously but didn't mean much to me.

One for the road (19th story) : It was another great story of Salems lot with a great short story.

The man who loved flowers (18th story): it was short but brutal. Thats it.

The last rug on the ladder (17th story): This was too sad. Good, one of the bests but so sad. I like a sad story like this, it was executed well.

Children of the corn (16th story) : This is right next to Jerusalems' lot and maybe I know what you need. One of the best stories in this collection. It was well paced, enough creepy, enough frustrating. And the questions were answered which you question from the start of the story.

I know what you need (15th story) : This is a good idea, its creepy and it had a good ending.

Quitters, Inc. (14th story) : I can't explain why but this might be the best story in the collection. Atleast it's up there with The boogeyman and Jerusalem's lot. It was thrilling. Could've ended badly but it would've been sad. It's an upgrade from the stories before this for sure

The lawnmover man (13th story): this was a solid book. Isn't one of the better ones but still was a mid one.

The ledge (12th story) : this was mid. Not much of a story, but kind of a thriller, the end was nice.

Strawberry spring (11th story): this was a big buildup for a not really big twist, atleast a predictable one.

Sometimes they come back (10th story): This was a good story, enough sad, not scary but an entertaining one.

Trucks (9th story): It wasn't the worst for sure. It was a better story but not a good one. It seems like Stephen King likes trying to make cars horrifying but it just becomes a story you want to skip. This was written well but it was just another meh story in this collection.

Battleground (8th story): This was the WORST one so far. I don't know what's good about this. It had no meaning no emotions no fear just simply shit

Gray matter (7th story): this was a good short story, one of the better ones in this collection. The idea was great and well executed.

The Boogeyman (6th story): This one was the most terrifying one so far. Not the best but up there with Jerusalem's lot. The twist was good, predictable, or atleast i predicted it but it was awesome. 2nd best one so far.

The mangler (5th story): This was pretty mid. I would've said that this wasn't the worst so far, it wasn't Bad, but looking at it, Jerusalem's lot was a lot better, Graveyard shift was also better, Nightsurfer also better, I am the doorway slightly better. The concept was reminding me of Final Destiny but in the end it went into another direction.

I am the doorway (4th story): Its kinda mindfuck and i can relate to in the body horror part, and thats the thing i found the most promising in this one and the Night surfer, the relatable things. But i fear this might be the worst story so far. I enjoyed all of them but this didn't really hit.

Graveyard shift (2nd story): it was a nice short story, but it was too short to be something. It was atmospheric and promising but the twist (if it can even be called a twist) wasnt too much.

Night surf (3rd story): it was an 8 page telling of these characters and what happened to them, why them. Can't really say much about it, it was good in a way but can't rate a book thats only 8 pages.

Nightshift (2nd story): this was a quick read, less than 20 pages. It was an atmospheric story, with some good characters. Liked it but wasn't better than Jerusalem's lot.

The prologue: I think i'll never skip a prologue again. This was such a nice thing to read. A look into Stephen King's mind and into my mind aswell. Noone should skip this prologue
Jerusalem's lot (1st story): this was a nice short story about a man who discovers the horrifying truth of his blood and the things that happen in this town. Nice short story
