I hope to come back to this book when I retire. It is just too long for now.

I enjoyed the science but the story was just too long.

I just couldn’t keep going. It got more absurd and annoying instead of making me want to see where it goes.

I about one fifth through the audiobook and I just can’t listen anymore. I want to experience this young woman’s character development in such an oppressive world, but the narrator for the audiobook isn’t working. I will try the text.

Came across this tidbit in Science Magazine (Oct 18, Vol 342): "A Good Read Theory of Mind is the human capacity to comprehend that other people hold beliefs and desires and that these may differ from one's own beliefs and desires.

This book is such an important appeal for us to pay more attention to where our food comes from and the importance to our culture, environment, and economy.
