This is my first Murakami book: This book is long AF and I'm almost done with Book 2, yet I still have so many questions. The Little People (literal or abstract?), are these two worlds colliding or not? Tried explaining the plot to a coworker today and realized I sounded insane. I am committed to finishing this book, but will it actually make sense by the end?

About halfway through the book; It’s a quick, page-turning read, but also pretty predictable. Every time I thought, “Of course the worst possible, emotionally triggering thing is about to happen,” it did.
