Re-reading.
I forgot how much slang from that time was in here. Lots of googling happening.

Honestly, if I hadn’t watched the movie I wouldn’t be able to keep track of what’s happening.

Rereading and seeing the plot holes when more than the first read. I’m hoping what Enchantra will be better though.

I honestly can’t tell if the authors constant use of the word kink throughout the series is a joke or not.

Sara moves the story along while making you feel the feels already.

Sweet Lynsey deserves better.

This girl is not hidden. Just her disabilities are. Not that we would know what they are because this seems more of a Kennedy family biography with a slight focus on Rosemary.

So far there’s a lot of back and forth in the story and the pacing is dragging. Or maybe I just can’t get into it like I thought I would.

I wish we had more of Camdens thoughts when he clams up randomly.

All these new characters is getting annoying. They better be relevant.

The Van Laars seem like a terrible family. Definitely would want to run away too.

I feel like the author is writing some things just to be shocking or bold.

Amazing how her shield can kill all the warriors around her attacking but couldn’t kill Belikon who was right on the side🙄

I get the feeling we won’t see Ren again until next book.

I’m burning this book if Archer isn’t ok.

I feel like this was rushed. Lorreth is training with Carrion at one point but Carrion is supposed to be in another realm. Fisher takes her shirt off one page and in the next two he tears her shirt again. And I’m not even halfway through…

I thank the heavens that my parents never treat me as the “Eldest Daughter” despite being the oldest and only girl. No child should feel this responsible for all the siblings and parents.

Wording could use some work. “I” is in almost every sentence. There are also so many details such as “I put the keys in ignition and turned them. I pressed the gas and pulled out of the parking lot”. Just say you left girl. No need to make the story longer with useless descriptors that bring nothing of importance.

I certain some strange things are going unsaid. Like Acker isn’t what we think maybe? The storyline jumps around fast and I feel like we’re missing explanations or thought processing.

Didn’t think they would ever get off that boat.

The language feels too modern for an environment that feels like the 1800s.

Honestly not sure I can finish this. I was excited for the concept but she is literally stupid for not realizing your can’t take ANYONE hostage like that and him having to go stop TEENAGERS is to ridiculous.

Does the author only know of one type of gun, 9 millimeter? She mentions it SEVERAL times. Just say gun at this point. We don’t care about the type.

Nash just wants someone to choose him.
Hanna just wants someone to let her decide.
Ellis just wants to have people to care for him.

Poor Nash has PTSD from his threesome.
Hanna feels unloved and like she has no control.
Ellis is coasting by.

I feel like this book is just talking in riddles.
