The reason why she gave him cold shoulder for 2 years was not strong enough. Why he is interested in her is also not strong enough. For some reason I like Dakota and I wish her well but this book is really not keeping my interest 😬😬😬

20% is 2h of the audiobook and so far I’ve been mostly confused, sth feels off with the pacing and the placement of “2 years ago” chapters is not working (I’m saying it as someone who doesn’t mind dual timeline)

I’m not feeling the chemistry and I don’t understand their dynamics. I’m sure it will be revealed at 75% or sth bot right now I’m mostly confused

Nope, I hit multiple “that’s my final straw” and sadly I’m DNFing, it won’t get better and it could get worse so I’m stopping while it’s still at 3 stars

I saw ONE insta story about this book, spend 3 days almost buying it, ordered, started reading immediately. I am very much NOT planning to prioritize this read but let’s keep it on my CR shelf, might read it in one day or a month (cause all the ARCs😅), who knows

I was so excited for it but it already feels a bit too chatty 😬 I truly went from a book with too little dialogues to too many in the span of a week 😂
We’ll see how it goes but right now we’re in the 3-to-4 territory when I was expecting a 5 star read 😭

Soft DNF on chapter 12

I didn’t mind the first 3rd act breakup, I even actually liked it, but TWO 3rd act breakups?…… I mean, they should break up and each go their separate way but oh can this book end already

Ok the tension is tensioning

I have less than 3h (1.0x) left of the audio but I think I will save it for office commute. The third act is finally somewhat interesting but still I don’t see it being more than 3 stars for me

Diving into this one a bit later than I planned to as it releases tomorrow but I trust it will be a sure 4 stars like the previous two books by Stefanie I read

Rachae, the queen of epilogues. That’s it, that’s the reading update.

This is a hell of an emotional rollercoaster. In the span of 5 pages (more or less, I didn’t actually count it) we got the goodbye, then giggles over the text messages and then back to being devastated because of something I knew was coming but it hurts no less
