stunning poetry, devastating history

good but long-winded; Isabel’s character is changing from free-spirited to wanting to settle after all; I am confused

She just rejected 2 marriage proposals🫨

pretty good so far; a little slow but that’s 1880s Lit!

While it doesn’t look it, this book is a page-turner. It’s so cool how it intersects science but also literature at the same time so that it reads like a story.

amazing so far; introspective, deep, intriguing
