I am such an AVID and enthusiastic student rn. I am so grateful and thrilled to experience this work.

It is so important for women to share and write and speak and also READ each other’s work.

Wilkerson is such a great writer and storyteller. Somehow an equally academic/really educational text and also so engaging/narratively compelling

WOW. Holy shit Audre Lorde. Only one text in, and I already feel the gravity and importance and healing powers of her work. So excited to pour over more. This is special

This really is a remarkable book, but I think I’m gonna have to read this one again and maybe a third time to rly grasp it. Fascinating characters and also rly interesting way to read about the experiences of people living in the Russian occupation/communist regime
