This book is so shitty it’s getting me into a reading slump again lmao (I started listening to the audiobook which is something I do with books I hate because I just can’t DNF them and honestly I’m having a shitty time enough that I might drop this one guys)
There’s no funny story here and both main characters are boring and annoying

I just know I’m not going to like this book very much… this just ain’t it… or maybe I’ve grown past my Emily Henry books phase and I’m tired of the same Hallmark type of stuff with perfect men that aren’t really perfect but they’re the best thing that ever happened to the main character and blah blah blah and they’re always so likable and what not (they’re just each others rebound)

I’m trying so hard to read this book but it’s so boring and bland and isn’t even entertaining me on the bus to work

Not gonna lie… I think it’s a bad book and I can’t stand the dad lmao. I don’t get how this is a nice fun little cozy Rom com or whatever, all I can think about is that if my dead dad came to me with that attitude and that request I would’ve probably … idk… spilled his ashes in the toilet and flush 👌🏻 I’ll finish the book eventually but for now I just think it’s bad. And annoying
