Not exactly sure what to think at this point.

I'm done with this... a long, rambling, confusing mish-mash of conversations and characters I don't care about. 96% through it, and I just can't force myself to read another page. Sorry, it's boring and unfocused.

I quit reading this book at about 90% through. Simply can't stand the writing. Perhaps it's just me, but it's just a bunch of disconnected apparent red herrings with little indication there's a resolution and LONG boring passages of exposition that repeat themselves in various permutations. I HATE not finishing a book, but this isn't any good.

I just finished Company Commander: The Classic Infantry Memoir of WWII and gave it 4 stars. It's a timeless story of one officer's experiences from the beginning of the battle of the bulge until the end of the war. It's a bit dry, but very authentic.

I just finished Snow and Steel: The Battle of the Bulge, 1944-45 and gave it 3 stars.

I just finished Armada: A Novel and gave it 4 stars.

I just finished Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished Ready Player One and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished The Middle Kingdom (Chung Kuo Book 3) and gave it 4 stars.
