It's fun to see that clever and engaging writing style that made me love Artemis Fowl so much back with an adult edge to it.

I love these books, they have such immersive world-building, but I do feel like this time around the heavily gendered wording has been more grating than usual for me. It's really a strange feeling because the female characters are generally well-written, but the constant over-reliance on "human females just be like that sometimes" lines was more glaring this re-read. (Not that it'll stop a future re-read...)

Some parts are way more interesting than others, but I like the overall message that successful companies care about their ground-level employees as much as they care about their customers. Treat them well, give them purpose, and that's your strong foundation.

The narration has almost a Douglas Adams humor to it, and I love it.
