Surprisingly (or not) I was not able to put this down. Despite no prior interest in evolutionary biology, I was really captivated by this. While the book cannot say what aliens will look like, I have a much better understanding of why we are the way we are. I also have such an appreciation for scientists/philosophers who can write creatively and for non-scientific audiences, of which Kershenbaum is one.
