Sabriel's sequels audiobook is "checked out" how TF is an audiobook checked out.
Anyways I read this prequel earlier this year and it was good, but listening to it makes me wonder if I was just dense and it was always very romantic or if it's stepped up in this book. Either way, solid start

Probably the most emotional intro I've read. AMPED to get into another ML Wang book.

Side note this and Sabriel both have magic-welding, brunette, FMCs with bobs and ya not did not expect that
