I love io sakisaka's work but have noticed the protagonist saku in this gets in her head too much so that she over thinks almost everything. Which since the story is about being kind and learning to camunicate works but i don't think saku and futaba would get on very good if it crossed over with ao haru ride

So far in the book we are seeing the event of vol 1 from hikaru's point of view. And yoshiki being consumed. ( a little) its what id call a very quiet volume so far.

The one thing i know about the books that is different from the tv show i fell in love with as a teen is the books get depressing fast. But i won't lie i still love this series
