This book so far seems to be a critique on stereotypical “tough guy” masculinity and how the system seems to be failing men with their mental health which leads them to start taking their problems out on each other physically

I need to just write this here really fast because I’m just thinking. So this main character he struggles with insomnia he’s gay? He wishes he could die but he’s not suicidal. Maybe all those things he said on the plane because he hated his job that has to be it. Idk everything is making me think so far that’s why this book is taking me so long

This is just kind of mid so far to be honest. Like seriously I don’t know if I need rich white family drama on a private island while in real life I’m watching the world crumble
