Holy crap, what an immediate mood. This is exactly the gloomy reflection I was looking for this winter

I select certain books that I can read in between calls at work which aren’t too sad to interrupt. This is not one of them - needs my full attention.

I can see where most people wouldn’t enjoy the pacing of this - I feel this one comes from an introvert’s heart so not everything is constant action. I personally love it so far! One of my favourites for a romantasy.

I dug this up wanting to re-read my favourite book from decades ago. It really holds up for me and is only more relevant in my eyes now. I am transported to the past and the future at the same time 😭

What the hell is this series. I keep saying I’m over it but still continue to be fully engrossed. lol

I know the idea is for it to be a fractured re-telling, but I’m a bit over the drug empire storyline. Still gonna stick through to the end but I think this will be my last one with this series. I have hope still since this book is bigger than the rest - maybe a little more complexity, fingers crossed

It’s actually horrible to read this so slowly because I am dying to get through more of it. Am so time-poor this month and it’s torture to sneak a couple pages at a time

I can already tell this story will have me wrapped in it
