Not loving this so far. The premise is fantastic, but I'm not vibing with the main characters or the writing style.

Maybe if we wish for it hard enough, goodreads will fix its comment / notification system within the next decade.

The first book really worked for me because the mcs had known each other for years, so all the affection between them felt natural. I am not enjoying the Speedrun to Love in this one.

Each of the FMCs of this series have been complete and utter messes and I love them all for it.

Beginning to think Basen was isekai'd into this series from a shounen novel

Maybe this is just me missing the court shenanigans, but I'm finding this volume a little boring 😅

SHDKFKF Maomao just washed Jinshi's face with her bathwater and then the two of them attacked Basen to keep him from sounding an alarm. They're the freakiest to ever do it.
