She throws a ball, you catch. But she was aiming for someone else—the guy from the second metaphor. You hand the ball to the guy, who does not recognize you, and he thanks you sheepishly before running off with her.

My poor, poor, poor brain. It is now scarred. The second half of this chapter had me in constant stitches...until, that is, it sent my heart crashing through the ground faster than an anvil plummeting on Jupiter. To say this was the wildest thing I’ve ever read would be an understatement.

I’m confident if there is anything at all that you are insecure about, this book will ROAST it.

I finished the first story and god, it’s like a train wreck you can’t take your eyes off. That is, if train wrecks were also full of laugh out loud moments.

I’m not sure if my nervous system will be able to handle this book at the moment 😅
