DNF this book is not very interesting. The storyline is over done. Would be fine for a rom com but not a Rebecca Yarros novel. It lacks depth and didn’t grab me.

This will take me forever to finish. It’s only now starting to get mildly interesting. These characters aren’t very likable, the setting is bleak. All I’m learning about birds and fish is probably the biggest takeaway.

Holy crap this book is boring. Idk how I even got this far.

I can’t finish this book. It’s so boring. It follows Odessa on her way to her homeland and there’s a new character from another continent who has visions of her sister dying so now she’s trying to avenge her death. The whole 40% of the book I got through which is over 6 hours is back story of the starling that become shapeshifters and Odessa following the creepy priests through Calandra.

This book is giving me stomach aches. I had a hard time sleeping. Soooo much yearning it’s ruining my life.

It’s getting really disturbing. It’s making me want to adopt foster children, give them the best life possible and all the love and safety. I need to finish this book in small sips because I get too emotional.

Damn this book is loooong. So many realms to discover and war stuff happening.

This is a very sad story. I need to take little breaks and sprinkle in some romcom in between or I’ll be depressed. I anticipate this book taking me a while to finish because of the breaks plus it’s very long. If you go for it (my 4 Goodreads friends 😂) don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This book does not need to be this long.

Not loving this book so far. It’s just so long and Delphine isn’t that interesting. I’m hoping it gets better because I loved this series and the Flock series. I keep stopping this book and going back to it a week later..

I know it’s part of the process but reading all the misspelled words and poor grammar is making this a tough read. I get so annoyed and need to take breaks but this book is on so many must read lists and it’s on KU so I will finish it eventually.
