They completely cut out the scene of Phil Graham visiting Hannah at work and literally forcing her to break up with him or he’ll cut Garrett off completely when making the show. Instead, they broke up when he fought Delaney on the ice instead she was completely OK with him fighting Delaney and they’re gonna break up because Phil threatened her.

In the show: Garrett doesn’t tell his coach about why he beat Delaney on the ice and is suspended for four games. In the books, he beats him up because he was a friend who testified against her and he gets suspended for one game because he tells his coach why he does it.

2) in the book Della’s is a 50s diner, show it’s a bar
3) in the book Dean walks into the tutor sesh and gets kissed by Hannah, it’s Logan in the show
4) in the book, Sean is outgoing and crazy, it’s a homebody in the show and that’s why they broke up

Reading after watching the TV show, the show is not book accurate so far 👎 only minor details though

I have never been so scared shitless to turn the next page of a book in my life.
