However, I’m a little confused with the plot in this book? Like.. I’m sooo confused by all the things going on. Maybe it’s the writing idk… something about Matt and a headhunt so far. I’m confused.
Also, I hate to say this. But the smut could be sooo much better if they were more descriptive! Rn it’s very quick - good but very quick.
If they were longer and more descriptive then damn!

He lost the vote, she’s an heiress to some hotel chain. Like it’s giving zero plot. Like all of this is predictable. The plot is mid and vain. Every time something happens I’m like, okay, thane what? Cause it had such a little effect on the story, or it literally does not matter!
It has never been this hard, to get through a fucking book. I’m sorry ana, but this is not it.

THE FUCKING SEX SCENE WITH THE GAMES! “READ A FULL PAGE WITHOUT STOPPING OR STUTTERING”I DIED!
That was the hottest thing in this entire book! This gave me a little hope!
But again, besides this scene, the book is still giving nothing… very bland and predictable. BUT THE SEX SCENES! SHE DID THAT RIGHT!

Boring.
Nothing happened. He had a conference retreat or something and then they met up and hap sex. But there was absolutely no description of the sex.
Otherwise we got told he might lose the vote. So again. BORING AS FUCK.
Can’t wait to finish this book so I can finally read something else!

It’s a slow burn, which I hate. Also a light romance worse than the first book. This is the hardest book I’ve ever had to get through. But I refuse to let it win! I will get through with it! Even though I hate every single chapter!
Every time I get through one chapter, all I can think about it that it’s one less chapter I have to read!

Boy did it not disappoint! The vulnerability in this part is sooooo high! And it’s honestly so relatable, which is probably why I get so drawn to this book! The small relatable details that makes you connect with Addie!

Love this book so far! Can’t wait to see Zade burn the world to the ground!

Just finished part 1…

I was hooked… like it was soooo dark and hit the spot.. I couldn’t put it down. The tension between me and this book is insane.
I had a knot in my throat the entire part 1.
But gosh I’m happy it’s “over” and zafe found her!
However, the shit ain’t over… cause my girl is forever traumatised!
Soooo I’m still hooked! Can’t wait to see how he’s gonna kill everyone!!!
