Honestly I mostly feel like the plot has been paddling along at a pretty calm pace but feel like we hit some rapids in these chapters. I need more tense scenes like this. I'm actually feeling very excited to continue reading.

I didn't like Tender is the Flesh but I am feeling hopeful. Does start of crazy right away.
