I was SO excited to read this book but I am struggggggglingggggg through it 🫠

I went into this book with zero expectations and I think I have found a new favorite. The melancholia in the tone and the desire of the main character always searching for something more resonates with me deep down. Beautiful writing, amazing story, and a romance that made me fall in love with romance again.

“A girl was like a kite; without her mother’s strong, steady hold on the string, she might just float away, be lost somewhere among the clouds.” 😭 Damn hitting so close to home.

Really fun to follow all of the timelines around. Kept me engaged

My tbr list is so large I need new books to stop being released or a time stopper remote 😅

5 stars to the introduction by Bernard Knox. Clear, digestible, and entertaining.

This book is so good but my fever has been raging for a week I cannot progress. I’m reading deliriously and have no idea what is going on 😭😭😭
