What a fantastic read, perfect blend of science and historical fiction. Jake/George is a top tier king protagonist and Sadie’s story and relationship with George/Jake idk was perfect. Even a little horror in the card-men, and dystopian America. Just makes me want to dance and love in the 1960s with my Sadie

Tommy Tariche is starting The Shining (The Shining, #1)

not as good as the movie. imo it’s maybe 50 pages or so too long. not to say it wasn’t a fantastic book though, such good character writing and development for Jack, Danny, Wendy, and Dick. hard to believe that this has no source material or anything he just sat down and came up with this
