okay so the main character is a total creep preying on this young girl, telling her he wants to "plough her again and again until she laughs and cries" ???? i didn't know this book was gonna get freaky like that but here we go i suppose..
also this book is based on a series of paintings (also included in the book) and im gaining clues and predictions from the paintings, im intrigued to say the least

didn't like the ending of this book, but also kind of did :')
age gap relationship ended up together (shocker) and the scene where one of them was about to die im ngl i did get emo over, overall good book !!

the connections are connecting and it's just as i feared...

HE JUST KISSED THE OTHER SISTER LIKE 30 MINS AFTER KISSING THE YOUNGER SISTER WHATTTTT 😭😭😭 ohhh brother this guy stinks

a note on the love interest: just audibly gasped out loud. this man just dead ass admitted to one of the sisters that before it was the one he's all of a sudden "in love" with, he wanted the other sister first 😭😭 why would he say that (been a family friend of both sisters all their lives, just started having tension with the youngest one a month ago, just started kissing a week ago, mind you)

i have this sick and twisted feeling rosie is going to become a werewolf...

also, rosie is 16 in this book and her love interest is 21...... i am feeling very conflicted when it comes to rooting for them.... i wish she was older or that this man would have just LEFT THE POOR BABY ALONEEE

at first, i was rocking with both of the sisters pretty much equally, because the author wrote their characters pretty similarly, but now i am #TeamRosie all the way. scarlett is self-centered and says she would support her sister, but its just talk. when she finds our rosie wants a life of her own she blows up and storms out. rosie, don't let scarlett treat you like this my queen

haven’t updated in a while but very much enjoying this book so far, just got to a part that i’m not like suuupperrr loving but it’s not taking away from my overall enjoyment, still giving the notebook kinda and i hope and pray she picks the guy i want her to 😭😭

loving this book so far !! about half way through and i still feel “the notebook” vibes from it, heavily, super cute western-ish romance with drama and i’m living for it all

it’s giving gone with the wind, it’s giving the notebook, it’s giving old hollywood romance movies where it’s so a dramatic and they kiss and smash faces and just hold each other ugh it’s so good yes !!!

this book is so cutie so far ! my 3 year anniversary is coming up with my love, and i’ve been craving a love story lately 🫶🏻 it’s wholesome, enticing, and predictable in all the best ways so far. i’ve been reading it outside under trees, with pretty music playing, and it’s setting the mood perfectly ! i sense drama is afoot and i’m excited for it, to be continued ..
