Is the same person who wrote parts one and two even involved in part three? This started out as a beautiful portrait of a mother's grief, while she navigated finding the answers she needed. It has now turned into the worst possible crossover of You and The Lovely Bones.

There are plenty of terrible characters that you still want to read about. That is not Noelle. I may DNF the book over how poorly she's written.,

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book right now. I really want to find out what happens, but I think I already know, because the beginning gives a lot away.

The character of Noelle is wholly unlikable. I know she's supposed to be, but she's so obnoxious that I find myself trying to decide if I'm just going to skip the chapters from written from her POV.

I've read this book before several years ago and really enjoyed it, so I thought it might be the perfect summer read.
