This book has me questioning whether there can be too many twists and turns 😩

I hate how cocky they’ve written him. She seemed so tough and I don’t like how “going for his shit” she is now. Her comment about loving SVU for the ADA’S (specifically Barba) and not for Benson & Finn hit home! lol I was tore up when he left 😅

When he said, “you’re trembling little bird” in that damn accent! 😩😩😩

Good so far but has its flaws. She says something along the lines of, “private family being an easy trap for autocratic and fascistic behavior,” which I agree with. But then she says, “they will misguidedly assume their parents love them, in the face of abuse.” However, if all the parent has known is abuse, intertwined with love, then they know nothing else. The mental abuse/trauma has to be considered.

Have to get this out before I continue. Just started part 5 - chapter 69. Zelie starts with “we lost.” Girl, y’all ain’t do nothing!! Y’all need to strategize better cuz at no point have y’all actually tried to sit and figure out the history behind the blood metal and how to defeat him. This def a YA novel cuz this killing me 😭
