I’m so confused about Persephone being dead and Hades being all friendly with the FMC. Like even if your wife was dead, you’re the god of the underworld, my guy, she can just hang around?? That’s ASIDE from the fact that Persephone is a goddess and immortal? Like idk how the author is gonna patch this plot hole??

If I wasn’t being forced to to finish this… I probably wouldn’t. Some of it’s interesting but most of it was Darwin spoke to this other rich white guy a million times & also he was suffering from a mysterious illness (maybe crohns? That’s the book. He’s just an old rich dude. He did great work, but like outside of that, it’s not that interesting.

Okay, so i feel like I'm not super into this and I'm just reading it because it's been sitting on my shelf for months. The romance is just... Not there? Like okay there's a mating bond and they are attracted to each other, but they are also supposed to be enemies to lovers. But I'm pretty sure our girl Adara has no feelings towards him whatsoever. I feel like the author had a cool idea but didn't commit to the tropes

I'm currently so mad at Lara. She's dumb for not telling Aren when she had the chance. I know it probably had to happen for the series to move forward, but Im just mad at her for being dumb.
